This school year rather than just choosing a student of the month, CHS is choosing a teacher of the month. This month our students voted one of the football coaches who also teaches Arkansas History, Coach Jordan Benson. His players speak for him as, “ An awesome upstanding man, that knows how to handle young people”. “ Really cares about the education of his students, I love him.” Not often does a football coach do more in the classroom than they would ever be expected to do. Coach Benson has left a lasting impression on the young men he coaches and also his students in the classroom. One of Benson’s students said, “ I  will remember fondly the jokes and laughter we shared in that class, and the effort he put into our education. There is no one more deserving of adulation than Coach Jordan Benson.”
