End of summer marks the beginning of school and the return of the National Championship Chuckwagon Races.  This is the time of year that puts our tiny town back on the map. It is not surprising to see horses on Main Street.  While the dramatic influx of people can seem aggravating at times, it is a major income source for our town.  Our local restaurants and retail stores greatly benefit from the increased revenue made off of the chuckwagon races.  People from all over the United States are introduced to our small town, this opens up the possibility of them returning on vacation.  The chuckwagon races are a tradition in our town that many locals look forward to.  It is an opportunity to compete and spend time with friends.  During this time of year when our small town is not so small remember to watch for horses and enjoy the experience.  Good luck to all the wagon racers!
