FCCLA Wins Big at District STAR Events

Clinton High School’s FCCLA had a great run in their district competition held on December 6, 2017. The following FCCLA members competed and won in the following STAR events with various gold and silver medals.

  • Job Interview – Baylee Greffen (Gold Medal)
  • Leadership – Tania Armas (Gold Medal)
  • Chapter Portfolio – Grace Bradford (Silver Medal)
  • Chapter Portfolio – Lee Miles (Silver Miles)
  • Life Event Planning – Natalie O’Neal (Silver Medal)
  • Life Event Planning – Jadyn Banister (Silver Medal)
  • Sports Nutrition – Shelby Dawson (Silver Medal)
  • Sports Nutrition – Sadie Shannon (Silver Medal)
  • Sports Nutrition – Haven Stoltzfus (Silver Medal)
  • Interior Design – Halana Huereca (Silver Medal)
  • Entrepreneurship – Faith Sowell (Silver Medal)

FCCLA worked very hard and put in quite a bit of time and effort to make their projects the best they could be. It all paid off in the end. Everybody here at Clinton is extremely proud of these students, and cannot wait to see what they will accomplish in the state competition. They will compete in the FCCLA State Competition on February 21, 2018.
