In the midst of the Corona-Virus pandemic, the Van Buren County Fair looked a little different. The Clinton FFA and our 4-H students didn’t seem to notice as they were highly successful. Our kids worked hard for these accomplishments, and we couldn’t be more proud of them. Brayden Mooney received Grand Champion Market Goat, Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb, Senior Showman for both lambs and goats. He won the Herdsman Award for goats as well. Hannah Mooney worked hard to win Grand Champion Market Lamb. Cort Alexander received 6th overall Market Goat. Harold Mcnabb earned 5th overall Market Lamb. Shelby Standridge worked to earn Reserve Supreme Champion Beef Heifer. We are so proud of each and every one of you at the county fair. In the coming weeks, the kids will compete in the Arkansas Youth Expo, also known as AYE. After they compete here, the state fair is the next stop! Congratulations and good luck students!
