The Clinton Lady Jacket Softball team dominated their way through Regionals, advancing to the State Tournament.  The regional tournament, held in Manilla, was pushed back and rescheduled two different times due to flooding in the north eastern part of the state.  They began regionals Saturday morning with a commanding performance defeating Valley Springs 12-1.  On Monday they faced Melbourne  in the semi- finals and defeated them 5-1.  The Lady Jackets met up with Rivercrest in the Regional finals defeating them by a dominating 9-3.  They will begin the state tournament Thursday in Harrison.
