CHS Track team travelled to Heber Springs for a track meet last week to compete against 44 different schools.  Allie Hensley has qualified for state in 8 different events.  Weston Amos, Ethan Drake, Austin Drake, and Brad Amos qualified for the 4×4 state race.  4×4 girls team consisting of:  Summer Davidson, Lexie Smith, Allie Hensley, and Leslie Carter. Leslie Carter qualified for state in the 800M run.
Jonathan Carter received 2nd place in pole vault out of 44 competing schools.  4×8 team consisting of Derek Russell, the Drake boys, Blake Burgess finished 3rd; running their fastest time of the year.  Caleb Kirkpatrick set his personal best in shot put 41’1″.  The track team will be going to Green Forest to compete in district later in the week.
