FFA CDE Teams Going to Work

FFA CDE Teams Going to Work

Kaylee Hobbs, Writer

FFA CDE teams are starting to prepare for upcoming contests. Most teams are gaining new members, which means a great deal of teaching and learning. The three agri teachers divide up the teams to mentor.  Mr. Mooney is in charge of Agronomy, Electricity, Ag business team. Mr. Wiedower is over Floriculture, Vet Science, Nursery Landscape, and Dairy Foods teams. Mr. Kimes does Forestry, Ag Mechanics, Land, and Poultry. Students who participate on these teams are going to be putting a lot of time into what they are judging. Some teams will stay after school or even before.  Judging season will also be a lot of late nights studying and early mornings loading up on buses. FFA kids are very hard working and devoted to what they are doing when it comes to qualifying for state at district, and then trying their best to qualify for nationals at state. Good Luck to our FFA CDE Teams.
