Regular season football is winding down and as teams start preparing for the playoffs there are still some important last season games that should still be recognized.

1-3A Playoff contention is complicated for this conference. No. 1 is Booneville, No. 2 Lamar, No. 3 is a four-way tie between Charleston, Cedarville, Mansfield, and Greenland. West Fork and Paris have been eliminated from playoff contention.

2-3A Yellville @ Marshall

Winner advances to the 2018 Arkansas Centennial Bank State Playoffs. Yellville has 3 wins this season and are on a two game win streak. Marshall comes to the competition with the win over Cedar Ridge.

3-3A No. 7 Osceola @ No. 4 Newport

Both teams enter the game 8-1 and winner accepts the outright conference title, home field advantage in the playoffs to the quarterfinals, and No. 1 playoff seed.

4-3A All four of the dominant teams are reaching the playoffs. Baptist Prep clinches its first playoff spot since 2015. The Eagles have 4 wins this season, which is its most since 2011.

5-3A C. Harmony Grove @ Smackover

Harmony Grove could force a three way tie for first with a win. Prescott downed Harmony Grove 40-0 last week due to the starting and backup Quarterback being gone on a field trip. Smackover leads for the No.1 playoffs spot and a home field advantage.

6-3A Fordyce @ Mcghee

This game was scheduled due to Episcopal decided to play 8-man club football this fall. This will be a well scheduled matchup for Mcghee before heading off into the playoffs as the No. 2 Seed. Last week, Fordyce struggled offensively with only 17 yards passing and completing 4-12 passes.
