This past Saturday, the 15th, the 5th annual Buddy Walk took place at the park in Clinton. The Buddy Walk is an event that raises awareness for down syndrome during the month of October, Down Syndrome Awareness month. It features the one mile walk, activities and games for the children, special guests, recognition of the individuals and lunch for those who attend. Many businesses and residents come out to show their support year after year. The Clinton Cheerleaders hosted a ‘dance party’ with the children and the Greenbrier Softball team as well as the CHS Beta Club came to volunteer at the event. It is great seeing the community come together to support!
