On Friday our Clinton Yellowjackets traveled to Melbourne, and cruised to a quick victory over the Bearkats with our powerful offense scoring 2 touchdowns in the last 3 quarters of the game. Clinton’s backfield is vicious as ever churning out 463 yards of total offense with Kort Weaver passing for 105 and all the running backs combining for 358 rushing yards. Scoring summary for Clinton featured Kort Weaver rushing for 3 touchdowns and passing for one with Jake Ferrell on the receiving end, and Wyatt McCoy, Sky Davidson, and Caleb Bowman each rushing for a touchdown. Your Clinton FAB&T Player of the Game Danny Bittle led the way on defense with 13.5 tackles and 3.5 sacks holding the Bearkats to only 14 points and 177 yards of offense. One of the biggest games of the year for Clinton is coming up against Elkins, the three seed in the conference, for our CHS Homecoming Game. Come out and support the boys. It’ll be a good one to watch.
