On Tuesday, September 18th the Clinton Yellowjacket Tennis team defeated 2 4A teams. They defeated Batesville and Southside Batesville at Lyon’s College.  Coach Johnson said, “It was a very significant win for our team as we prepare for district next week.” Their record is now 11-1-2 (11 wins, 1 loss, and 2 ties). There is a  seeding meeting on Friday which will determine placements for the tournament. So far ranking they are 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in each category which includes singles or doubles. District is next week on Tuesday, September 25th and Wednesday, September 26th.
