Clinton Tennis is having another successful year behind Coach Tami Johnson. When asked how this year is shaping up compared to others, she answered saying, “We’ve been in a tough conference, but as a team we have performed really well. I coach a great group of student athletes.” Coach Johnson seemed very proud of her Yellowjacket squad as she should be. The tennis team is now 8-1-1 after winning their last game on Thursday over Harding Academy and Riverview.

Aaron Hogue (Senior) and Reid Hensley (Junior) are sitting 3rd in the conference so far this season for male doubles. Summer Davison (Senior) is sitting 1st in the conference for female singles. Not far behind is Emma Coward (Junior) who is 3rd in the conference. Hallie Treece (Senior) and Emily Hogue (Junior) are currently in 2nd in our conference for female doubles. The team is doing well and all of CHS is proud to have these young men and women representing our Yellowjacket tennis team!

District is coming up so be sure to support the Jackets. The district tournament will be held in Fairfield Bay September 25th-26th.
