The FACS Department, under the leadership of Valerie Lawson, has a new program of study this year. They are now offering three new classes; Consumer Services, Customer Relations, and Entrepreneurial Experience. In the Entrepreneurial Experience class the students are getting hands on experience at starting their own business. The business, The Hive Designs, will be open in or around November. The students will be selling T-Shirts with personalized designs, spirit signs, car decals, wall decals, and more. The students are currently designing and placing teacher quotes on doors around the High School Campus. Once the complete business plan is created the students will design order forms so that students and staff can start placing orders. Lawson said, “”We will strive to deliver more than expected.  We are excited about the school based business and look forward to creating designs that each of our customers are proud to own.”
