It’s time for the Van Buren County Fair! September 12-17 the fair will be held at the fairgrounds. The GW building will be open Wed-Thur 9a.m to 9p.m, and the gate will be open from 4 p.m to 9 p.m at the same time the commercial exhibit will open. Clinton High School’s FFA team will be both showing and judging animals. Goats and lambs will be judged on Tuesday September 13th from 6:00 to 7:00. September 14th the beef and hogs will check in at 6:00, the weighing of hogs and cattle will take place, and on the 15th at 7:00 the market hog show will start. September 16th from 6pm to 7pm the cattle show and commercial gilts. Last but not least, September 17th at 10 am tthey will feature the premium Livestock Auction and at 4pm the best of the best Showmanship Contest will take place. We wish the best of luck to our FFA team this year.
