FBLA Sponsored Blood Drive a Success
March 7th, Clinton High School held a blood drive with the Arkansas Blood Institute from 8:30-2. Students and teachers signed up for a time during the day, and then would complete their ticket on the computer in order to participate in the drive. Once they successfully filled out their rapid pass, they would go to the mobile facility for a short exam to make sure they are fit to give blood. After this, they were ready to donate! Clinton schools exceeded their goal of 35 donations with a total of 39 procedures on March 7th. Participants received a t-shirt after their donation as a thanks from the Arkansas Blood Institute. These donations potentially saved 117 lives. Clinton has held two previous blood drives this school year, with an overall total of 118 donations. So far this year, we have earned $1,250 in scholarship money for senior blood drive participants. Clinton will have one more blood drive this school year on May 2. Come participate with us and GIVE!
