Clinton Basketball Season Begins
Clinton Yellowjacket Basketball is rolling to a quick start this fall! This coming Saturday both boy’s and girl’s senior high teams from Green Forest, Yellville-Summit, Marshall, Lamar, and Two Rivers will be heading out to Clinton to compete in the Clinton Benefit Jamboree. Each
game will be two eight minute quarters. Games will start as early as 10 am and proceed throughout the day.
“If we play like we can we will win, if we don’t there’s a good chance we will probably lose,” commented Brittany Shannon, a Lady Jacket senior about the upcoming event.
This following Tuesday, senior high boys and girls will travel to Yellville-Summit on an hour and a half drive to officially start their season.
“It’ll be my last-first game and I hope it ends up good,” Brittany Shannon adds.
Thursday, November 9th, all four teams, junior high and senior high, both boys and girls will face district rivals Mountain View on their home court. The following Saturday, Clinton will kick off their annual First Service Bank Classic.
