On Tuesday, September 26th, the Lady Yellow Jacket golf team attended the State Tournament in Melbourne. They played at the same golf course they played in the district tournament to qualify for the state tournament. Kaitlin Kirkendoll and Brittany Shannon had a great time and worked hard, yet both came out short of a title. Both were newcomers to the sport, and made it farther than they ever thought possible.  Even though they didn’t succeed in the State tournament, they made it there individually with little experience. This might have been their first year to play the sport, but they can play it the rest of their lives.
