Mr. Smith
“Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.”- Margaret Mead
“ You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” -Dr. Seuss
When asked to tell about himself, he replied, “I was born and raised in Clinton, Arkansas by a father that was born and raised in Clinton. As a matter of fact, my family in and around Clinton goes back at least six generations. I took my first assignment in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1981 after getting my bachelor’s degree from Harding University. It has been a long ride.”
“There are basically three aspects to teaching- peers, parents, and the pupils I teach. I love the people I work with and I enjoy getting to know the parents who have entrusted their children to me for the year. By far the favorite part of teaching for me has been watching my students grow and mature as they learn from me how to learn on their own.”
