Welcome back to school Clinton students! This 17-18 school year is rolling forward and is starting with quite a few changes! CHS is now providing a course called the Academy which gives you the opportunity to meet whatever your personal needs are. The Academy works around the student’s schedule to ensure that the student achieves their goals. Another interesting new course now offered at CHS is CERT, which is led by Wesley Potts. In this course, students have the opportunity to learn emergency preparedness. Some major rules have also been changed at CHS. Clinton High school student’s dress code has a revised length on shorts and dresses. Length must reach the bottom of the fingertips rather than between the fingertips and the knee. Hats also may be worn in the mornings outside and during the lunch period while outside. With golf, tennis, and football season swinging into gear we are looking at a very exciting start to this new year!
