The end of the year means a lot of activity for the Clinton FFA. It is an exciting time for the FFA members who compete on judging teams! The Clinton FFA competed in district at Arkansas Tech on March 16. This contest determined who would go to state. The only stipulation was that they had to qualify within the top 8 teams overall. They have many teams that qualified for state and are ecstatic about their performance at district. The following FFA teams will be going to state: Ag Mechanics (4th), Agronomy (2nd), Electricity (2nd), Floriculture (1st), Forestry (7th), Horse (4th), Land (2nd), Milk Quality (7th), Nursery (6th), and Poultry (4th). The students have been attending contests and studying hard to prepare for state. Not only this, but our FFA program is also having an auction April 29th to raise money for the ag program. It would be greatly appreciated if you would come out and support these hard working students to do what they love! The FFA Banquet is scheduled for May 9th. More details to follow about the auction and banquet, but be sure to mark your calendars and save the dates.
