Empty Bowls Supper
The students at Clinton High School who are in art class with Mrs. Corning have invested time playing with clay. They recently made bowls out of clay and have painted them and designed them to their own taste. Every year, Clinton has an “Empty Bowl Supper”, which is a fundraiser in which people from our community come out to support our school and purchase these bowls made by our students and fill them with soup. Our FACS classes prepared two different types of soups to choose from. All the proceeds collected that night went towards our local food bank, which feeds families in need in Van Buren County. They raised over $1500.
