The Clinton senior high baseball team has high expectations going into the 2017 season. Last week the boys were ranked 3rd in the state for pre season polls in class 3A. With the basketball boys coming over in the middle of the week the team finally were able to prepare to take the field. Nemo Vista came fired up early taking a quick lead in the top of the first 3-0. In the bottom half of the inning Bryce Dodd led off with a triple. Aaron Hogue next up hit a sacrifice to score Dodd. After Ty Johnson tripled next up, Stiles Booher hit another single to make the score 3-2 after the first inning. After the first inning the boys settled  in on defense for a few innings. Clinton’s bats got hot in the 3rd and 4th and took a 8-3 lead. After a sloppy 5th inning on defense Nemo scored to cut the lead to 8-6. With a huge 6th inning the boys ended up run ruling nemo 18-8.
