The CHS basketball teams traveled to Perryville this past Friday for conference games. The girl’s team for Perryville had a lot of size advantage over the Yellow Jackets but we kept the margin very close the whole game. The lead went back and forth for most of the game. At the end of four quarters the Yellow Jackets ended up losing by 10. The boys played a very up and down game that consisted of a couple dry spells. They were down by 25 at halftime and a few words of encouragement brought fire to them coming out for the second half. They came back but still lost the game by 5. Both teams learned well from the loss and are working things out that went wrong. Go CHS!
