The Clinton Yellowjackets Tennis season has sadly come to an end.  However, they ended on a good note and really excelled all season long.  In the 3A District Tennis, the girls finished runner up and the boys placed 3rd.  Tori Bradford and Lexi Smith placed 3rd in doubles.  Also Alyssa McKnight placed 3rd in singles.  Hunter Haney and Mason Keeling finished 3rd in doubles. Regan McGaha finished 3rd in singles.  They all advanced to compete in the state tournament.  Alyssa advanced to the 2nd round of the State Quarter Finals and was defeated by the State Champion.  She placed 8th in state overall.  The other team members were defeated in the first round.  We had an exceptionally tough state group.  All the private schools took on the grand titles.  However, Alyssa, Tori, and Lexi got All Conference this season, as well as Regan, Mason, and Hunter.  Way to finish Jackets!
