Pros and Cons of Canvas

The pros and cons of Canvas vary in our junior high. From teachers and students all their opinions about Canvas are important. There are many good things and not so good things. It all comes down to how a student or teacher can work. For instance, is it easier for the teacher to grade or keep up with the students’ work? Is it better to do your work on the computer or paper?  

We have interviewed both teachers and students to get their take on the new website Canvas.

  • It is easier to check for missing work and to see your grades.
  • You can easily access your work.
  • Virtual students can easily communicate with their teachers about assignments.
  • Hard to use
  • Confusing
  • It’s harder to work on the computer than on paper.
  • You can get lost very easily on what work is due.
  • It glitches on a regular basis.
  • T0o hard to work around with all my student’s assignments.
  • There are to many buttons to click to see everything for my assignment that I assign.
